EUI Library visit and introductory session 

Tuesday 18 June 2019, 16:00 Р18:00. 

This library introduction will make participants familiar with both the physical use of the library and its online resources.

During the library visit of about 15 minutes, participants will be shown around the library in smaller groups to indicate the lay-out of the collections. Practical issues will be explained related to the use of the library such as access, opening hours, working spaces, network access, printing etc.

After the library visit there will be an online demonstration of about 1 hour for all participants on:

  • The library website and law research guide
  • how to search for library resources (in general) using the most important tools: Catalogue, Find eJournals and eBooks, Articles+ and Google Scholar
  • how to use the specialized EUI subscription databases in international law and human rights, such as the Hague Academy Collected Courses, Oxford Public International Law, Westlaw International and some dispute settlement and arbitration databases.
