European Union Law Course Library Tour
EUI Library visit and introductory session
Tuesday 2 July 2019, 16:00-18:00
This library introduction will make participants familiar with both the physical use of the library and its online resources.
During the library visit of about 15 minutes, participants will be shown around the library in smaller groups to indicate the layout of the collections. Practical issues will be explained related to the use of the library such as access, opening hours, working spaces, network access, printing etc.
After the library visit there will be an online demonstration of about 1 hour for all participants on:
- The library website and law research guide
- how to search for library resources using the most important tools: Catalogue, Find eJournals and eBooks, Articles+ and Google Scholar
- key repositories of EU legislation and documentation on the Web (legislation, case law, summaries of legislation, working documents, policy papers etc.) such as EurLex, Curia, Public Registers.
